I love the bonding, co-workers, and most of all I like the advancement that the company has. Your focus is making sure the products have a label, they’re clean, they’re stocked, just that everything looks, what they call, grand opening ready. Lots of trucks coming inbound to unload and then we are loading trucks to go to stores, so there is a lot of forklift traffic.

And the things you learn on the job are things that can directly help you. If you have an apartment, if you have a home, if you want to go out on your own and do contractor handyman work, you’re going to learn so much. Vacation time and the company is very good if you need a day off. They have been very good about working with me. There’s sometimes where I’ve been able to take nights off, but work a little bit longer on another night. So they’ve been very flexible.

She competes with Xavier for a job at Angelo Rosetta's restaurant and she wins. April is upset when she learns John has pulled out of the bottled water campaign, especially as she has emailed her father about it. TV Soap said it starts to become obvious that April "is becoming more and more on edge." Bianca and Irene notice April's odd behaviour and they think it has something to do with her OCD. April becomes paranoid when she learns Sid has told the police about his missing prescription pad and that he has accused his daughter, Sasha , of stealing it. April's stress and anxiety levels rise when she discovers she has been awarded Dux of the school. The drug and the pressure of writing a speech get to April and she realises she can no longer cope.

Willow offers Alex a free personal training session at the local gym, which she accepts. Alex treats Raffy Morrison after she suffers an epileptic seizure. She tells Raffy that she too suffers from epilepsy and once suffered a seizure during an HSC exam.

Fish said she enjoys playing April, especially as she has gone on quite a journey during her time on the show. Ari is among several characters caught up in a hostage situation at the local hospital in the show's 2019 season finale. Adam SollisA man who begins chatting with teenager Bella Nixon after they connect in an online student forum. He manipulates Bella into staying with her guardian, instead of moving back in with her brother. He later tells her that he is actually a twenty-five year old school teacher. Tommy sends Bella a camera so she can take photographs of herself for an assignment, and he hacks her webcam to spy on her. He also provides Bella with a ticket to a photography exhibition and later offers to pick her up and drive her there.

Ian thanks everyone for looking after their son during his time in the Bay, and the couple leave. The actress successfully auditioned for the role of April and she described the process as quick. Fish's role in the soap was announced in May 2010 and she made her first on screen appearance as April on 15 June 2010. In April 2013, it was announced that Fish had decided to leave Home and Away and April departed on 13 November 2013.

April comes across Xavier on the pier and watches him throw photos of himself and his ex-girlfriend, Ruby Buckton , into the sea. April is not impressed and she orders him to retrieve the photos.

Kipa-Williams took to his Instagram account after his final scenes aired to thank the show's cast, crew, and fans for their messages and support. Mackenzie Booth, played by Emily Weir, made her first appearance on 13 June 2019. Weir's involvement in the show had been made public months in advance due to paparazzi publishing photographs of her filming at Palm Beach. A reporter from Soap World even guessed that the character was named MacKenzie Booth and would be likely be the half-sister of established character Dean Thompson (Patrick O'Connor). Xavier begs April to get rid of the chemicals, so they do not get into trouble with his mother, Gina . Inside Soap said April "reluctantly" agrees and they pour the liquids down the sink, but they do not realise the chemicals are lethal. Both April and Xavier pass out after inhaling the fumes, but April recovers and goes for help.

April is named Dux of the School and she confesses to Ruby that she took Sid's prescription pad. Ruby gets rid of the drugs for her, but during her speech, April collapses.

She continues to give Ryder tips and invites him to join her and her friends in Yabbie Creek. He turns her offer down, as he is working, and Samantha gives him her phone number before leaving.Edwards was uncredited for her appearance in Episode 7164. Ari takes the blame for Matthew Montgomery's murder in order to protect his fiancée Mia Anderson and her daughter Chloe Anderson .

He brings his fiancée Jasmine Delaney to visit them at the family farm. However, Wendy is "protective" of her son and tells Jasmine that she does not approve of her marrying Robbo. Ian also shares his concerns with Robbo, and he and Wendy later tell him that they want him to move back to the farm.

He later tells her that he gave it to Ryder, and Jade goes to the Stewart house, where Ryder's grandfather is getting married. Ryder and Nikau find her searching for it and stop her, the resulting confrontation brings attention to them from the wedding guests, thus exposing Jade's lies to everyone. At the same time Heath tells Bianca that April has been self-medicating and Liam Murphy wrongly believes Heath was supplying the drugs to April. However, Bianca realises he has done the right thing in telling her. He orders her to get as much rest as possible before her exams begin.
